Alec Damiano is a musician, artist, and award-winning alumna from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She has interviewed prominent musicians for The Blaze 1330 AM like Doro Pesch and Rachel Bolan (Skid Row), and won two Society of Professional Journalists’ Mark of Excellence awards in radio reporting. Damiano once published a poem about Ozzy Osbourne and runs a blog called The Blog of Shredding. She also makes music videos for local bands, does concert photography, and is the co-founder, bassist and lead singer of speed metal band Varkan. Her career goal: become a rock star and make videos, much like Rob Zombie.
