Alec Damiano is a musician, artist, videographer, photographer, and journalist from the Phoenix, Arizona area. 

She served as Employee Communications Specialist at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, where she won the 2020 Ragan Employee Communications Award for Best Intranet Video.

A Walter Cronkite School of Journalism alumna, she also won two Society of Professional Journalists’ Mark of Excellence Awards for radio reporting (2014).

She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Music Business from Southern New Hampshire University in conjunction with Berklee College of Music Online.

She is the founder, lead singer, and guitarist of metal band Varkan and currently serves as the Marketing and Event Technology Manager at the Association for Career and Technical Education of Arizona (ACTEAZ).
